Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone come out and watch your launches?

Our launches are open to the public.   Just remember, that what goes up must come down. Rocketry is a very safe activity but there are some risks (just like riding a bicycle). General horseplay can cause an unsafe condition where you may be asked to leave.  All children on the launch site will need to be closely supervised at all times, PARTICULARLY while flight operations are underway.  Rocketeers are always prepping rockets for launch. Children are asked to keep a safe distance to avoid damaging expensive rocketry components.  Don’t hesitate to talk to the rocketeers and ask questions. Most flyers are happy to talk about rockets.

All flyers over 18 must be a member of Tripoli or NAR, Anyone under 18 must have parent or guardian sign new TRA waiver. Anything in excess of G-impulse proof of high power certification and a current NAR or Tripoli membership card will need to be presented.
